Our 2’s class provides a warm, family-like environment where little ones can play independently or with friends while beginning to discover the joy of learning together. Through story time, music and movement, and creative art activities, children learn cooperation, sharing, and group participation. We emphasize that school is a fun, safe, and loving place where God’s love is shown daily. Potty training is not required—we partner with parents to support each child’s growth and readiness. This class is a wonderful first step in your child’s educational and spiritual journey.

Our Pre-K program encourages the growing independence of 4- and 5-year-olds while guiding them to use it wisely. Through a blend of teacher-led and self-directed activities, children learn cooperation, problem-solving, and friendship skills in a Christ-centered environment. Daily activities include art, blocks, dramatic play, manipulatives, language development, math concepts, a writing station, and science fun. Circle time brings everyone together for calendar and weather, Show & Share, classroom jobs, Bible stories, prayer, songs, and creative movement. Outdoor play is also part of the day, building strong bodies as well as joyful hearts.

Shining Star Preschool is excited to announce the extension of our program to include Kindergarten. This next step allows us to continue nurturing your child’s growth in a Christ-centered environment, building on the strong foundation developed in our preschool classes. Enrollment is complete once the following steps have been met: a $50 pre-registration fee is paid, all licensing paperwork is completed, immunizations are up to date, and a tour of our facility has been scheduled. We look forward to partnering with families as we guide children through this exciting new chapter in their learning journey.
