Shining Star Preschool is a nurturing place where children learn through play, creativity, and exploration. With a theme-based curriculum, sign language, and activities in art, math, science, music, dramatic play, and Bible stories, we support growth in spiritual, social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development—building confidence, respect, and love for learning.
Christ Centered
We make every effort to teach children that God has made them special and that He loves them very much. They learn this through bible stories, songs, prayer, chapel time and interaction with our staff.
Philosophy
The first five years of a child's life are crucial to their development, which is why it's important to have a positive preschool experience where your children can ask questions, explore ideas and learn.
Curriculum
We use themes throughout the year and the letter of the week curriculum. We teach children the letters of the alphabet focusing on the sounds and the sign language for the individual letters.
